Christmas 2010
The 2010 festive season at The Aldwark Arms commences on Monday the 29th of November and we will be offering our celebratory menus until the 13th of January 2011 for those of you who cannot make it in December or are as busy as we will be!
Our Christmas party menus are for parties of eight or more and will be served at lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday. We can also offer our private dining room at lunch and dinner times for parties of up to 10 people. Additionally, on Saturday and Sunday the Christmas party menus will be available in the private dining room at lunch or dinner time for parties of 8 – 10 people.
The Aldwark Arms restaurant can accommodate parties for up to fifty people. For those who prefer our à la carte menu this will also be available as usual and the bar and restaurant will remain its usual cosy and loud party-free self for the à la carte and traditional Sunday lunch menu over the weekend!

Champagne happy hours!
To help with your celebrations on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve we are, in conjunction with our wine wholesaler Hallgarten, offering Champagne Happy Hours between 5pm and 10pm on Christmas Eve and 5pm until 1am on New Year’s Eve. Our happy hour will offer Duc de Charlane Champagne for £25 per bottle, Laurent Perrier brut for £30 and Laurent Perrier rose for £45 per bottle.
Christmas and New Year’s Eve “Early Bird”
We are serving our à la carte menu on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. We will start serving dinner at the earlier time of 5PM. For early tables paid and vacated by 7:15PM we are offering an “Early Bird” offer of 25% off your food bill! We have limited places so book soon to avoid disappointment!
Christmas Parties
A deposit of £10 per person and our pre-order form is required to confirm Christmas party bookings.
On arrival
We are offering some special extras to enjoy on arrival for your Christmas parties. These include mulled wine and cider, canapés, our own Christmas Bellini which is Sparkling wine with a homemade spiced fruit cordial and cranberry or a glass of Champagne. Prices are stated on the pre order form.
Christmas Eve
Dinner service will be from 5pm until 10pm and we will be serving our usual à la carte menu.
Christmas Day
The pub will open at 11:30am for festive drinks and lunch service will be between 1:00 and 2:30. Christmas Day lunch is a five course menu with coffee for £60 per adult and £30 per child. A £20 deposit per person is required for Christmas Day. We will use each table only once. Last year we filled our restaurant very quickly for Christmas Day so book soon to avoid disappointment. We will be dressing some tables in the bar by the fire for lunch service after the locals have popped in to wish us a merry Christmas and gone for their Christmas lunch!
Boxing Day and New Year’s Day Special
Enjoy a 4 course lunch plus tea/coffee and petit fours for £25 per person. We’ll be taking orders between 12.00 and 1.30 and again between 3.00 and 4.30. Our normal à la carte and children’s menus will also be available.
