Pol Roger Tasting Dinner
Thursday 12th August 2010Join us on Thursday 12th August for a very special wine tasting event. We will be tasting 5 different Pol Roger Champagnes to accompany a full tasting menu. See below for the menu. A vegetarian menu alternative will also be available for anyone who would prefer it.
We are offering the six course tasting menu and the five Champagnes for only £65 providing a very low cost opportunity to taste some of the world’s most popular and expensive Champagne. The evening will be hosted by Pol Roger’s UK northern representative, Jonathan Smailes, who will share some fascinating information about the House of Pol Roger (Winston Churchill’s favourite) and will also give a short talk between courses on each of the Champagnes we will be drinking.

Join us at 7.15pm for Pol Roger Brut with canapés – on the terrace if the weather is kind to us! We will sit down for dinner at 7.45.
For anyone who would like to stay overnight, we can arrange preferential rates at the Aldwark Manor Hotel, just a short walk down the road and complete with superb spa and fitness facilities and 18-hole golf course.
